Your Keynote portfolio, as a link.

Plenty of designers, architects and art directors keep their portfolio in Keynote, because that is where they can make it look right. Linkdeck turns the HTML export into a link that plays the portfolio as built, on whatever the recruiter or client opens it on.

The moment it hurts

The application form wants a portfolio URL. Your portfolio is a 180 MB Keynote. The PDF drops the case-study videos and still needs hosting somewhere, and a .key attachment opens for nobody without Keynote.

How it works

  • In Keynote for Mac: File → Export To → HTML.
  • Right-click the folder and choose Compress.
  • Upload the .zip on linkdeck.me.
  • Paste the link into application forms, your email signature or your CV.

What survives

Builds and transitions in the order you set, case-study videos playing inside the slide, sound on the first tap, and hyperlinks to live projects. It opens in any browser on a phone or laptop, with no Keynote and no Apple ID.

What a portfolio needs from Pro

A link that does not expire: free decks stop after 3 days, too short for an application process that takes weeks. Pro links stay up while you subscribe, with a slug like linkdeck.me/your-name. Add a project and replace the deck in place, and every application you already sent shows it. Per-slide time shows which case study held the reader; a password covers client work under NDA. €12 a month.

What it is not

Linkdeck is not a portfolio website. There is no grid of projects and no about page, decks are not listed anywhere for people to find, and custom domains are not available today. It hosts the deck you send. If you need to be found by strangers, build a site and link the deck from it.

Questions

Can I have different portfolios for different roles?

Yes, on Pro. It hosts 10 decks, each with its own slug, for example one for branding work and one for motion.

How big can the portfolio be?

200 MB per deck on Free, 500 MB on Pro. Images are compressed again on upload; video is kept as you exported it.

Does the reader need Keynote?

No. The link opens in any modern browser on any phone, tablet or computer.

Put your portfolio behind one link

Export to HTML, compress, upload. Test it free on your phone; Pro (€12 a month) makes the link permanent with your name in it.
