The treatment arrives with the footage still moving.
A treatment with six reference clips is 300 MB. Email refuses it, WeTransfer hands the agency a file it has to open in Keynote, and the PDF turns every clip into a still. Export the Keynote to HTML, upload it, and send a link that plays the deck as you built it, on the agency producer's phone. This is for directors and producers who build their own decks in Keynote; if your treatments come out of InDesign, keep sending the PDF.
Video stays video
Clips play inside the slide on iPhone and Android, with builds and transitions intact. Sound starts on the viewer's first tap, because every browser blocks audio until then.
Room for real footage
500 MB per deck on Pro (200 MB on Free), and 10 decks. Enough for a treatment, a mood deck and a shot list per job without crushing the clips.
Linkdeck does not re-encode video, so the clip you place is the clip the phone streams. Export references at 1080p before dropping them in; nobody sees 4K on a slide.
Unreleased work stays locked
On Pro, a deck can ask for a password before the first slide. Switch on the email gate instead and you see which addresses opened the forwarded link, collected as leads in your dashboard.
v2 after the call, same link
The agency wants a different casting direction. Re-export, upload in place on Pro, and the link the agency already has now plays the revision. Nobody forwards the old version to the brand.
Know when they opened it
On Pro, an email the first time the deck is opened, then time per slide, country and device. You'll know whether the brand saw the casting page before the call.
Ends on your company
Pro decks close on an end card with your company name and colour, with no Linkdeck branding. Pick the slug too, so the link reads as yours.
Questions
What is the size limit?
200 MB per deck on Free, 500 MB on Pro. Keynote's HTML export keeps your video files as they are, so the upload is roughly the size of the media in the deck.
Does the agency need Keynote or an Apple ID?
No. The link opens in any modern browser on a phone or laptop, with no app and no account.
Can the agency download a PDF from the link?
No. Linkdeck hosts the playable deck only. If the agency needs a PDF for internal circulation, export one from Keynote and send it with the link.
Send the next treatment as a link
Export to HTML, compress the folder, upload. A free deck is live in a minute; Pro keeps it permanent, up to 500 MB, with a password.
