Send the sales deck as a link, and see which slides they read
If you build your sales deck in Keynote, a PDF throws away the builds and an attachment tells you nothing. Upload the HTML export and you send a link that plays the deck as you made it and reports back on what happened after the call.
The follow-up problem
You send the deck after the demo and hear nothing for a week. Did the buyer open it? Did they forward it to finance? Did anyone get past the pricing slide? An attachment cannot answer any of that, and you write the next email blind.
What a link tells you
On a kept deck or on Pro, the deck's analytics page shows:
- Every view, with country, device and the site the click came from.
- Average time per slide, so a long stop on pricing reads differently from a skip.
- With the email gate on, the address of each viewer and how often they came back.
- An optional email to you the first time the deck is opened.
How it works
- In Keynote: File → Export To → HTML…, into an empty folder.
- Drop the folder on linkdeck.me and copy the link.
- Paste the link in your follow-up. The buyer opens it on a phone or laptop, no Keynote needed.
Pricing for one rep
The first deck is free, with an open count, for 3 days. If one deal matters, Keep that deck for €9 once: the link stops expiring and you get the analytics, email gate, password and replace in place on it. If you send decks every week, Pro is €12 a month for up to 10 live decks with all of that on each.
The honest limits
Linkdeck is one login per account: there are no seats, shared team libraries or CRM integrations yet. It hosts Keynote's HTML export only, so a deck built in PowerPoint or Google Slides is not a fit. If your team needs seat management and CRM sync, a sales enablement tool will suit you better.
Questions
Can I see which company opened the deck?
Not from the view itself. You see country, device and referrer; a name only comes from the email gate, where the viewer types their address.
Can I fix a typo after sending the link?
Yes, on a kept deck or Pro. Replace the deck from the dashboard and the same link plays the new version from the next open.
Can my whole team share one account?
Linkdeck has a single login per account and no seats. Each rep would use their own account.
