Interior design presentations your clients open on their phone
Your moodboards, walkthrough videos and reveal builds arrive exactly as you designed them. The client taps a link, the deck plays in their browser, and the last slide carries your studio name.
The concept deck that will not send
A concept presentation for a whole floor is heavy: 4K walkthrough, twenty full-bleed photos, a reveal build on every room. It is 400 MB by the time you export, and email refuses it. So it goes out as a PDF, and the walkthrough becomes one frame with a play button that does nothing.
The client sees a brochure. You made a presentation.
What survives
Keynote's HTML export keeps the deck as a deck. Apple's documentation lists animations and builds among what is exported, and embedded media travels in the export folder with the slides. Linkdeck hosts that export and plays it with Keynote's own web player.
- Walkthrough video plays inside the slide, on a phone as well as a laptop.
- Reveal builds run in the order you set: the empty room, then the furniture, then the lighting.
- Hyperlinks to your suppliers stay clickable, so the client can tap straight through to the fabric or the fixture.
- Text is drawn as you set it. The client's phone does not need your typeface.
Three steps from Keynote to a link
All on your Mac, under five minutes the first time.
- In Keynote: File → Export To → HTML… and save the export folder.
- Right-click the folder in the Finder and choose Compress.
- Drop the .zip on linkdeck.me. Copy the link, paste it into the email or message.
Password for the client, analytics for you
On Pro, a deck can ask for a password before the first slide loads, which matters when the concept is for a house that is not public yet. Per-slide analytics shows how long the client spent on each room; if they lingered on the kitchen and skipped the guest bath, you know where the next conversation goes.
The email gate is the softer option: the viewer types an address before the deck opens, and you see who looked, including the partner who was forwarded the link.
What Linkdeck does not do
Better to know before you rely on it.
- Keynote HTML exports only. A PowerPoint deck must be opened in Keynote first, then exported to HTML.
- No client portal, no invoicing, no project folders. One deck, one link.
- Links live at linkdeck.me/your-slug; no custom domains today.
Free for the first concept, €12 for the studio
Free: 1 deck, 200 MB, the link stops working after 3 days (24 hours if you upload without signing in). Pro, €12 a month: 10 decks, 500 MB each, links that never expire, custom slug, password, email gate with leads, comments, replace in place, per-slide analytics, your studio name and colour on the end card, no Linkdeck branding.
Questions
Will my walkthrough video play?
Yes. Keynote's HTML export includes embedded media, and the player streams it from our CDN. Video plays inline on iPhone and Android. Check that the clip is in a format Safari and Chrome play (H.264 or HEVC in an .mp4 or .mov container), which is what Keynote produces by default.
Can the client see it without Keynote?
Yes. The link opens in any browser on any device. No Keynote, no Apple ID, no app, no download.
What if the concept changes after the meeting?
On Pro, export again and replace the deck in place. The link you already sent now plays the new version, so the client never has to find a second email.
Upload your concept deck and send the link tonight
Export from Keynote, zip the folder, upload. The first deck is free and needs no account.
