The flythrough survives the email.
A competition deck with three rendered flythroughs is 380 MB. Email refuses it, WeTransfer hands over a file the client cannot open, and a PDF turns the video into one still. Linkdeck hosts the Keynote export and sends a link instead.
Big files are the point
Pro decks can be 500 MB each (200 MB on Free). That is enough for full-resolution renders and several minutes of video without re-encoding everything down to a blur.
Video plays inside the slide on iPhone and Android instead of kicking the viewer out to a full-screen player. Sound waits for the first tap, because every browser blocks audio until the viewer touches the page.
Opens on the client's phone
The developer opens it between site visits. Landscape, tap to advance, the same builds and transitions you rehearsed. No Keynote, no Apple ID, no app.
A password for unreleased concepts
Planning submissions and competition entries are confidential until they are not. On Pro, a deck can require a password before the first slide loads. Turn the email gate on and you also see which addresses opened it.
Revisions without a new link
The client asks for the east elevation to move. Export again, upload in place, and the link you sent last week now plays the revised deck. Nobody has to hunt for the newest email.
Know what the jury looked at
Per-slide analytics shows dwell time slide by slide. If everyone lingered on the section drawing and skipped the sustainability page, that tells you something about the next presentation.
Ending on your studio, not ours
Pro decks close on an end card with your studio name and colour, and the Linkdeck branding is removed.

What is the file size limit?
200 MB per deck on Free, 500 MB per deck on Pro. Keynote's HTML export keeps your video files as they are, so the export is roughly the size of the media in the deck.
Does the video autoplay?
Video plays inline in the slide. Audio does not start until the viewer taps once, because iOS, Android and desktop browsers all block sound before a user interaction. Linkdeck queues the audio and starts it on that first tap.
Can I remove the Linkdeck branding?
Yes, on Pro. The deck ends on a card with your studio name and colour instead, and the Linkdeck mark is gone.
