Show clients the photo presentation, not a folder of JPEGs
A gallery is a grid. A Keynote presentation is an order, a pace and a soundtrack. Export it to HTML, upload it, and the client opens a link that plays it the way you sequenced it.
When the sequence matters
Proposals for a commission, a wedding highlights reel, a pitch to an art buyer: you chose what comes after what and how long each frame holds. A shared folder throws that away, and a 300 MB Keynote attachment will not get through email.
What survives
Linkdeck plays Keynote's HTML export with Keynote's own web player.
- Transitions and builds run as you set them, including Magic Move.
- Music and video embedded in the slides play in the browser; on phones, sound starts after the viewer's first tap.
- It opens on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac without Keynote.
Three steps
All on your Mac.
- In Keynote: File → Export To → HTML… into a new, empty folder.
- Drop the folder on linkdeck.me (or a .zip of it).
- Send the link, or put it behind a QR code on a printed card.
Image quality: the honest part
To keep decks quick to load on phones, Linkdeck resizes JPEG and PNG images larger than 2560 pixels on the long edge and re-encodes JPEGs at quality 80. On a laptop or phone screen this is hard to see. If the point of the deck is pixel-level inspection of a print file, send the originals separately.
Free and Pro
Free: 1 deck up to 200 MB; the link stops working after 3 days. Pro, €12 a month: 10 decks up to 500 MB, links that never expire, a custom slug, password protection, an email gate, per-slide analytics and no Linkdeck branding. See the pricing page for the full list.
Questions
Will the music start on its own?
Not always. Browsers, phones especially, block sound until the viewer interacts with the page, so music starts once they tap or click to move through the deck.
Can clients download my photos?
The deck plays in the browser and there is no download button, but anything shown on a screen can be screenshotted. Do not rely on it as copy protection.
How big can the presentation be?
200 MB on Free and 500 MB on Pro, measured on the upload. Large images are resized on upload, which usually brings the hosted deck well under that.
