Can I update a Keynote without changing the link?
Yes, and the ways behave differently. An iCloud link points at your live file, so every edit shows as you make it. A Linkdeck link on a kept (€9 once) or Pro deck is a fixed copy that changes only when you replace it. A PDF or movie you shared from Google Drive can take a new version behind the same link.

Replace in place, step by step
The link stays the same, and on Pro so does the name you gave it. Anyone who opens it from then on sees the new version.
- Export the new version from Keynote on your Mac: File → Export To → HTML.
- In your Linkdeck dashboard, open the deck's settings and choose Replace deck.
- Drop the new export folder, or a .zip of it.
Why a fixed link can be better than a live one
With iCloud the client is looking at your working file, so a Sunday-night draft is on their screen the moment you type it. With a replaced link they see the version you signed off, and only when you decide.
Links that are already out keep working: in emails, in calendar invites, on a printed QR code.
If you want the live behavior, for a deck you're building together, iCloud does that well and for free. iCloud link or Linkdeck link goes through both. And once the new version is up, you can see who opened it.
Questions
Do I need Pro to replace a deck?
No. Keep, €9 once, covers that one deck: replace in place, a password, the email gate and per-slide analytics. Pro, €12 a month, covers every deck.
Does the link change if I fix a typo?
Not on a kept or Pro deck. Export again, replace the deck, and the same link plays the corrected version.
Can I do this on Free?
Not in place. On Free you delete the deck and upload the new export, which gives you a new link. A free link only lasts 3 days anyway.
